BLOON DONATION EXERCISE

"As an individual you owe duty to the community" THOMAS JOSEPH MBOYA (Tom Mboya was a former Kenya Cabinet Minister)

On the 1st of May 2023,  some members of our boxing club heeded the call to serve the community by making their way to METROPOLITAN HOSPITAL. Led by Coach Elijah, the young boxers  (with ages ranging from 16-21) volunteered to donate blood as part of the club's policy of taking our rightful part in activities that bear social responsibility to teach our boxers to be respectful adults.

The senior most member happened to be Lee Njorohio who happens to be in University pursuing his degree in Finance. Njorohio is one of the most polished and athletic boys you will come across as not only does he do well in class but he has won local boxing competitions (currently a Welterweight) and is also a Rugby player (talk of a serious double threat) flanked by another fellow boxer Tevin Ngang'a, another University student was also present not only to show support but also donate himself.

Also present was the interesting prospect, Chris Musyoki (sleek heavy hitting southpaw) currently at bantam=weight, Chris is currently in his  and is final year of High School at 18 years of age and is an ever smiling, ever happy soul always happy to chuck a smile but in the ring he is an absolute monster. Also in line were high schoolers Bradley is currently 17 and will be turning 18 this year, Sienna and Joyce were also around to donate blood as part of our gym's commitment to teach our boxers to be responsible members of society.
