Unleash the fighter in you.

JERICHO BOXING CLUB is not just a boxing club; it's a transformative sanctuary designed to steer youth away from the perils of crime and towards a path of self-improvement, education, and environmental consciousness. Rooted in the belief that every young person deserves a fighting chance at a brighter future, our club offers a holistic approach to personal development, combining the discipline of boxing with educational support and environmental initiatives.

Jericho Estate has always been a tough neighborhood having produced hardcore criminals but this same neighborhood has also produced some stellar personalities like the only Kenyan Olympic Gold medallist ROBERT WANGILA, GEORGE MAGOHA and quite probaly the most prominent is the excellent, stupendous thought leader and quite probably the best orator in all of Africa Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba popularly known as " Prof. P.L.O Lumumba".

The world over boxing has been used as a tool of diverting youths from crime and delinquent tendencies and it is for this very reason that as JERCHO BOXING CLUB work with Juvenile detention institutions with the aim of reforming the youths getting caught up in petty crime and having them turn a new leaf in their respective lives. Some stellar names in the world of boxing happen to be beneficiaries of a similar programme include the all time great MIKE TYSON, the evergreen GEORGE FOREMAN,  the marauding NIGEL BENN and the fearless RON LYLE. A vast majority of great fighters come from severely impoverished backgrounds like Roberto Duran, Joe Frazier, Julio Cesar Chavez, Marvin Hagler, Oscar De La Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard, Larry Holmes etc. But despite such intensely humble beginnings, mot did not become criminals. In fact, most say that boxing was their savior, and that without it, they'd either be dead or in prison.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to empower youth by providing them with the tools, skills, and opportunities necessary to equip them for a succesful life beyond the ring into responsible and self respecting leaders in their respective communities.
